hi,

have macbook pro running ubuntu 11.10. how listen music in ubuntu using banshee?

each time open "audio disc", songs listed, cannot played in "banshee media player". how let banshee play music cdes?

btw, if double click "song files" in audio disc, "rip" songs automaticlly?

ubuntu moving away 1 default starting 12.04. may wish try rhythmbox, amarok, clementine, totem, or exaile. rhythmbox new default , in next lts 5 years. give 1 of them try instead.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
