hi
running ubuntu 11.10 64bit within vmware workstation 7 windows 7 64bit host. followed following tutorial:
http://only4geeks.net/?p=37 in order install netgear wpn111 wireless dongle. steps seemed succeed , dongle blue led flashes normal dongle not listed under networks in toolbar.

know wrong?

i know thread little old, think might useful others may try this.

believe problem using 64bit os 32bit driver.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
