Thread: Ubuntu "This system does not support OpenGL" Dell n5110

hi, have problem ubuntu 11.10 64bit on dell n5110 nvidia gt525 , i5
can't run stellarium, , other random games require 3d graphics (i tried few see if they'll run)
- message "this system not support opengl" , nothing else happens.
has been case, these programs have never worked me first time used linux (dual boot win7)
when first installed tried fix failed (even had reinstall). can't find complete phrase in message google (very few finds, non helpful, if add dell model there none @ all)
know dual video card system problematic ubuntu had hopped way of fixing developed now.
-does out there have model laptop, problem , way of solving it?
have, far know, latest drivers card, unity 3d working (can see @ startup), , have tried advice given other posts.
-also, side-note, know why laptop gets hot booting linux , doing nothing else? under windows temp stays lot lower

thank if read post-zilla , if u can either make life lot easier

so... either can't make myself understood or nobody has had problem? or been able fix it...

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
