Thread: Warnings observed in Kern log on connecting iPhone

on connecting apple iphone 3gs in ubuntu 11.10 im getting following warning infinitely

xhci_hcd 0000:0b:00.0: warn: short transfer on control ep

has encountered this?

found few links related above warning. im not sure error is.

can route me right direction. if kernel bug, try fix it, way learn.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
