Thread: Wireless is Disabled by Hardware - Ubuntu 11.10

i running ubuntu 11.10 on lenovo g560 , wireless disabled when hibernated machine.i have been trying find solution problem days now. seems number of people have experienced it, unfortunately, have been unable find viable solution.

thought there problem card , went , bought usb wireless adapter, disabled. kindly me understand why might happening , possibly solution well?

well feel sheepish discovered there's hidden switch somewhere on bottom of machine; flipping solves everything.
