Thread: Xubuntu CD Ripping Issue

this ive noticed, & happens asunder & rubyripper.
when ripping cd collection, 1st cd in cd drive noticed & ripped, after no cd recognized ripping program until reboot.
in other words after every cd ripped have shutdown compt & start again.
not happen in ubuntu.
ideas?

i using abcde both on xubuntu , ubuntu without problems , rips number of cd's want. however, command line program without gui interface.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
