Using pdf metadata in a web app

i'd display metadata pdf files (author, title, subject..) using web app fields.  i'm assuming there's way can't figure out.  know how?  thanks!    linda.

are talking automatically deriving/extracting meta data pdf file attached web app?

 

if not, manually add info custom fields when input new web app item.  gut telling me might hard in standard lamp environment php doubt it's possible automatically derive pdf meta data on bc platform.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
