Bridge crashes when applying metadata
i'm seeking guidance, let me preface post information:
- cs6 via creative cloud
- all applications date via adobe application manager
- all windows updates applied including drivers.
- currently running bridge 5.0.2.4
- computer is:
- win 7 pro (64 bit)
- core i5
- 12 gb ram
- nvidia geforce 310
i have used cs6 months prior issue starting without incident.
i have tried moving data different drives.
i have checked/cleared/reset file permissions.
i have run drive error checks.
i have uninstalled/cc cleaner/reisntalled adobe products multiple times.
i have run bridge in 32-bit , 64-bit modes.
i have tried reset preferences , other "ctrl" startup options.
i have tried reset preferences , other "ctrl" startup options after selecing "run administrator".
i manually deleted ".bridgecache" , ".bridgecachet" files folder of photos.
prior crashing problem had sorted , begun apply ratings files (reject , start ratings) in folder without incident. applied metadata (keywords) portion of 1,321 photos in folder without incident. problem started when came next day , started work again. there had been no updates or restarts computer. thing think updated adobe acrobat, cannot sure. when opened bridge , began apply keywords files program locked , crashed. windows dialog box did not have information or options crash report.
this normal workfolw utilize on regular (weekly/monthly) basis , why crashing happening beyond me. have attempted troubleshoot many different ways. of particular note when different folder of photos had never been worked on before bridge , able apply same workflow without incident.

at time cannot difinitively confirm files causing issue attempt additional troubleshooting. @ point i'm not overly impatient because i've lost revenue opportunity selling these photos customers because error first started several days ago (4/28/2013 09:31:35 pm first crash). however, @ point not entertain wasting of time uninstalling adobe products, running cc cleaner, , re-installing products use.
does have suggestions me try resolution or troubleshooting?
update:
i found thread (http://forums.adobe.com/message/5054196) pretty identical me. , contained link page (http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?platform=windows&product=108) , downloaded recent version of bridge. version 5.0.2 available, have 5.0.2.4 installed. installing downloaded application did not help.
additionally:
i found able work (applying keywords) photos taken 1 model of camera without incident (this particular had 3 different models shooting). seems perhaps specific photos causing crashing. i'll whiddle down photo set , see idea goes....
