Can flash player slow down my website?

i , one, consider website http://e-obiectesanitare.ro slow enough java only, use flash become little more alive.

 

i noticed adding facebook box front page enough add 2-3 seconds loading time. flash require lot of bandwidth? loading time 2-3 seconds right now, , wouldn't want disturb much.

waiting answer.

that entirely depends on flash content put on site.  if high-quality, large video, problably slow down.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
