Cannot install CS6

i trying install cs6. installer run 3/4 of way, give error. tell me download , use adobe support application. when ran support application give me message, cannot find wrong , must contact adobe support further support. c drive has more 120g space left. use proper administrator rights. have redownloaded package 3 times. installers give same error. ideas why adobe cs6 not want install.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
