Create PDF from webpage font color turns white

while using create pdf web page text in final pdf colored white cannot see it.  italicized text remains black , find.  however, font color of standard text turned white.  know text there because can use text editing tool copy text out notepad.  problem occurs adobe acrobat x , xi.  however, when use adobe acrobat viii there not problem.  furthermore, website converting pdf problem happens if try convert entire site, 1,100 pages.  if stop job half way, font color remains fine.

 

any ideas?

under settings... button in create pdf web page dialog, have checkbox selected "force these settings pages"?html.jpg

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
