Download incomplete

downloaded adobe reader xl on windows xp operating system. download completes 66%. can not uninstall download, error message 'package'. can not reinstall either. how correct issue????


run cleaner:  http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html, restart computer , download complete install (http://get.adobe.com/reader/).

 

never try , install partially loaded installation file.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
