I am unable to re-install Flash pro CS4 after my PC crashed.

the setup program insist 1 component or more not installed properly. adobe not provide support cs4, for  reinstallation issues , left me stranded paid, unfuctional flash pro cs4 version. bright ideas how install? have tried download , set several times.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
