illustrator CS6 Crashing on Mac

i not everday user of illustrator, started having trouble crashing yesterday first time i've used illustrator in month or so.  here 4 scenarios had after multiple attempts open, create, or edit file.

1. spinning wheel of death when try open file

2. spinning wheel of death when try create new file

3. spinning wheel of death when lucky enough far enought along click file/new , pop screen , change "print" "web"

4. spinning wheel of death when try use "image trace" when manage far.

there few more scenarios, short answer have more lock ups , have force quit can work done.

i have tried following:

1. uninstall illustrator (with preferences checked) , re-install

2. called adobe desk , walked me through locating adobe cs6 preferences settings file.  had me delete "en_us" , worked champ.  no issues until closed illustrator , opened again later today.  have same issues before.

system info :

     mac mountain lion osx 10.8.3

     3.2 ghz intel core i3

4 gb 1333mhz ddr3 (thinking of upgrading 8gb ram, don't think issue since getting spinning wheel of death let go 20 minutes 1 time while on client call)

stand alone system , happens if no other programs running.

does have ideas on how fix othere deleting "en_us" file every time want use illustrator?

thanks in adavace,

rob

provide exact crash info:

working operating system’s tools

that aside, if deleting prefs fixes issue, may have user permissions problem. check file , folder permissions on preferences folder using info.
