Maps and hotspots

hey, have no problem doing hotspots (i use them when want images have more 1 link.) today when click , drag hotspot tool. odd reason instead of getting new hotspot, click , picks image!  why?? please help! doing different, did forget step? dreamweaver bugging?

hotspot tools don't work on background-images. 

your image map must in html (foreground).

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
