Organizer issue with PSE10

i have been using pse 10 no problems. today bought several new digital elements (different places) , import fails on each 1 saying file type not supported or in catalog. these new not in catalog. file types png, jpg , psd should work fine. need fix this?

do these file open in pse editor?

please ensure filenames have no dots or invalid characters.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
