Thread: attempt to access a webpage loads internal page instead

i using ubuntu 10.10 , can access internet fine when call webpages web browser load local page using web server testing. have removed apache2 , /var/www , /var/www-ssl locations find still problem. example: browse http://www.youtube.com fine... but.... http://netflix.com loads locally saved webpage wrote instead. there no indicator in website html how happens netflix.com logo in firefox tab , browser claims on netflix.com. know might cause this? have looked everywhere , must have forgotten something.

why want go netflix.com, have figured out how make work?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
