Thread: Boxee for debian!

if youve been trying build debian htpc boxee, youve noticed dependencies don't work debian.

ive taken time fix them (their still same packages), , added few missing dependencies. stripped deb repository

note: boxee 1.5 last version pc/mac/linux.

if creating long-term htpc, , want updates, advise use xbmc instead. eden done, , works wonderfuly.

couldn't use x64 download links on boxee site, no x64 debs.

debian unstable
http://dl.sandyd.me/boxee-fixed/boxe...n-unstable.deb
run (for safety's sake)after installing deb (only debian unstable)
code:
sudo ln -s /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libglew.so.1.6 /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libglew.so.1.5 sudo ln -s /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libglew.so.1.6 /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libglew.so.1.5.0
debian stable
http://dl.sandyd.me/boxee-fixed/boxe...ian-stable.deb

edit: in case bgp routes on routers decide die again,
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3593659/fixe...ian-stable.deb
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3593659/fixe...n-unstable.deb

although possibly helpful, guide little late.

according this, boxee devs have issued warm "go %*$@ yourselves" pc/mac/linux users. boxee no longer supported pc/mac/linux after end of january.
