Thread: cannot login - getting redirected to login screen after giving correct password

hi,

use kubuntu 11.04. every time give password, screen becomes black, cursor displayed "x", , i'm redirected login screen.

tried alt+ctrl+f2, logged in , checked x-server running startx command. "sudo kdm" did nothing.

noteworthy disk partitions full released 17 gb /home. /home used 85%, / 62% , /boot 30%.

please tell me else can do!!

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
