hi,

i'm using ubuntu 11.04 (pae-kernel) on asus 1215n netbook has worked great. started having performance problems. after 10 minutes of using ubuntu, system gets extremely slow. don't see shocking in cpu or mem usage. killed non-system related processes , changed swappiness 0 didn't help.
tried live version usb worked fine, dual-boot windows 7 installation works fine well.

have no clue problem be... here appreciated.

how did check cpu , ram usage?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
