i have been googling myself silly looking solution. using ubuntu 11.10 unity , have installed ffmpeg thumbnailer , no thumbnails. after alot of research found script ffmpeg thumbnailer goes /usr/share/thumbnailers directory here is.

in place , old thumbnails deleted , nautilus restarted recommended in several other tutorials few of videos , pictures have thumbnails?
issue appreciated.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
