Thread: FOG issue

hello all,

joined forum in search troubleshooting answers , figured i'd make post while continue looking. installed 64 bit ubuntu server 11.10, latest version of fog (trying set pxe boot imaging @ internship).

@ point of install of fog need edit config.php files mysql , fog, enter password info. when type
gksu gedit /var/ww/fog/commons/config.php prompted password (even though on admin account). install never had me set root password, don't know password use elevation prompt...is there default root password ubuntu server 11.10 in 64 bit?

i wrong, think gksu not asking root password rather password admin account!

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
