Thread: Install 11.10 on MacBook

hi there,

followed instructions on how install , part not sure partitioning, created 1 partition ext3 , chose / it, , is, not want keep osx on system, , want ubuntu login straight away.

@ moment installation finished , when turn macbook on shows file question mark inside it, happy install ubuntu again if did wrong or can fixed there.

mac spec:

re-installed ubuntu default partitioning , itś working smoothly.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
