i scan air on channel of wireless network:

airodump-ng -c 6 mon0  ch  6 ][ elapsed: 32 s ][ 2012-01-04 22:09 ][ fixed channel mon0: -1
the problem is fixed channel -1. need on channel 6 aireplay-ng.

how fix issue?

1. forum supports no illegal activies @ (you should know reading forum rules)

2. know how fix "fixed channel" bug , if scan air only check how secure your own wireless password is. scanning other access points other your's illegal.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
