Thread: Ubuntu to Ubuntu Networking

i've been everywhere , tried , have gotten nowhere.

have 3 ubuntu machines (running 11.10) , have been trying network them through router. i've tried samba , still can't set up. i've used sharing option in ubuntu , still nothing. can't see other computers on network other computer.

i've been working week. can please tell me how in world network these 3 machines , share 2 external drives hooked 1 of machines other two?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
