i need wireless working in ubuntustudio (10.10)
followed many many how tos...terminals , synaptic.
i've broadcom 4321 wifi . triple boot , wifi works in works in ubuntu 11.10 , vista on machine.
distro, if can wifi work..then can sons' run also. has same wifi driver. i've checked make sure isn't blacklisted.(it was, fixed that) @ 1 point got wifi light come on....but nothing else worked.

i'm pretty @ cutting , pasting in terminal.
i've hp pavillion dv6000

in advance help.

go synaptic , search "wicd". it's simple network manager kinda works vista network manager it's easier understand.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
