Thread: Would this laptop be easy to set up?

i got toshiba satellite l750d-14r christmas , want install linux use dev center.

here specs:

dual core amd e-450 processor @ 1.65ghz
amd radeon hd 6320 3gb memory
640gb hdd
6gb ram

i've never set linux on system ati or nvidia graphics card, that's why ask.

unless same make , model laptop replies (and no 1 has far!), way you'll find out try downloading , burning iso cd, booting that, , selecting try ubuntu.

show how ubuntu detects laptop hardware , installs proper drivers.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
