Benefits of Lightroom vs Camera RAW

i use following:

• elements 11 (w/ camera raw)
• canon rebel xs (1000d)
• canon powershot sx50 hs).

 

i shoot raw vast majority of time.

 

i downloaded trial version of lightroom 4.  far seems can in elements , camera raw can in lightroom.  missing something, or can point out in particular?

yes, every function of acr in pse available in lightroom.

 

you missing fact:

 

the other way around, there significant functions of lightroom develop module (which acr under hood) not available in pse.

 

specifically:

 

hsl adjustments/adjusting single color's saturation, hue or luminence

lens corrections

tone curve

adjustment brush

clone/heal tool

 

and few other things
