CF10 ODBC Socket Error - TCP/IP error, connection refused

trying define odbc datasource excel.  getting foloowing error:

 

connection verification failed data source: abcdef

java.sql.sqlexception: [macromedia][sequelink jdbc driver]tcp/ip error, connection refused.

the root cause that: java.sql.sqlexception: [macromedia][sequelink jdbc driver]tcp/ip error, connection refused.

 

also, getting same errot microsoft access datasource.

 

any suggestions?  in advance.

thank post. using supported environment. can check details @ http://wwwimages.adobe.com/www.adobe.com/content/dam/adobe/en/products/coldfusion/pdfs/cf1 0/coldfusion10-support-matrix.pdf. did check error logs?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
