Flash Player is no longer working

i have noticed flash player no longer working on computer. first noticed games on facebook, message telling me update adobe flash player. of steps download flash player tells has installed successfully, go facebook , same message. if use google chrome works, can not use google chrome job. have done of suggested troubleshooting steps, , can see on computer have flash player 11.7.700.169. i'm running window 7 home premium 64-bit, , internet explorer 10 32-bit.  please help, , thanks.

this case active x might blocking flash add on. can go tools -- manage add-ons .

you find adobe flash player listed, enable it, might disabled, means able install browser security settings disabled add on.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
