Is it possible to disable escape command that is quiting without warning?

when press in camera raw 7.3 escape key, picture quiting without warning or saving changes.

is possible disable escape command in acr ?

the escape key closes modal box in application, ui of acr is: modal.

 

it's normal , expected behavior.

 

just stop hitting escape key.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
