Jerky scrolling in CS, primitive & unacceptable?

hi,

i have major gripe cs6, , curious if alone in this. concerns scrolling behaviour , redraw performance of indesign , illustrator in particular.

i use of cs applications professionally every day, , have used them since started work professional designer in ‘90’s. many things have changed, better. after 20 years of development, honest, think way screen redraw , scrolling in cs behaves, seems embarrassingly primitive.

frankly, think it‘s not scratch , unacceptable modern standards. compared leaps , bounds developers of 3d design applications have made, struggle comprehend why few simple 2d pages difficult redraw. case in point: way pages palette in id updated. thumbnails painstakingly regenerated on every change, when 1 page altererd. takes close half second every spread.

i use decent macbook pro, quite bit of ram, quite sufficient heavy professional use, compared processing power started out with. it‘s far better equipped ipad example, hardly ever displays kind of screen lag. when navigating simple documents, screen redraw , scrolling behaviour in adobe cs appications (apart maybe ps) jerky, lagging , stubborn. still feels same when working in quadra 6100. , not due using wrong settings, know how work prefs.

now, scrolling performance may seem trivial @ first sight. important. speed , fluidity of screen redraw crucial part of user interaction, when navigating larger documents. , essential professional users, intensively use application every day. jerky screen behaviour causes mental , eye fatigue , deminishes user satisfaction considerably.

so, why scrolling behaviour , screen redraw performance of these professional applications still jerky. resolved in new cc version?

i think way users enabled fluidly navigate documents should key priority in further development of cs applications. no more jerky scrolling!

what think?

could mouse, or perhaps settings live screen drawing. that, try delayed....
