Photoshop Elements 9 keeps shutting down.

i have created slide show in pse 9, whenever try , preview in full-screen mode error program experiencing problem , shuts down.  can suggest fix?

try re-sizing images, create slide show. use jpegs 1500 x 1000 px. can batch process new folder, retaining originals. full edit use file >> process multiple files

 

otherwise slideshow editor use output >> save file >> wmv

 

then try viewing slideshow in windows media player

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
