Program Monitor stops showing video playback

hello,

lose composite video playback picture in program monitor , source monitor after few minutes. audio still plays.

while clip playing, bar of random video colors clip forms near entire top 10 rows of pixels left edge right edge, clip freezes video, audio can still heard. after while, error message pops , premiere has forced closed. 'nvidia opengl driver detected problem display driver , unable continue. error code: 3'

it happens on projects ranging of different resolutions , sizs 30 seconds 40min. suspect has error of video , display drivers not communicating, premiere causes happen after clip has been playing while. have tried online solutions others have had success with, there has not been lot of documented solutions windows users.

this has put of projects on hold. ideas on how resolve this?

other clues:

able see playback via other display modes vectorscope or rc waveform

able see video frames change if manually moving blue playhead

windows media player plays video files fine

close premiere , reopen premiere plays fine few minutes
