hi!
have strange problem. on laptop have bcm4727 wireless card. use microsoft windows 7 (photo editing, video editing) , ubuntu 11.10 i386.
have wireless connection @ home. when connected windows works well, when connected ubuntu connection not well. connected time connection not work.
when try open web page google chrome stays @ "sending request..."
same wheather if have bcm driver installed or not.
know wrong. missing or maybe need additional package installed?

when boots , no networks showing, please see if module wl loaded. please open terminal , run:

lsmod | grep wl

if not loaded, meaning terminal command comes blank, load it:

sudo modprobe wl

now wireless work?

if not please post output of

sudo lshw -c network
