Thread: GTK+ Styling in KDE

i'm trying out kde while, , considering installing kubuntu when 12.04 released, many of applications use use gtk+, not themed in kde (and don't alternative in kde software compilation, e.g. chrome/thunderbird). gtk+ appearance (tried oxygen-gtk , oxygen-molecule) in system settings has no effect. have installed gtk3 engines (there isn't many) relevant.
also, can dolphin configured require double-click open folder , files?

why using kde if gtk+ stuff more, makes no sense. using gtk+ mixed qt unpleasant mixture whatsoever, and yes can set mouse open "things" double clicks, but not using kde,i can't tell heart, should in system settings (where else can be) ,mouse settings
