Thread: May have lost all my data

hi, going install fedora on partition of hard drive windows 7 on went wrong. backed important files before doing in case went wrong, thing guess. anyways using disk utility erase windows partition prior installing fedora 15. got error while doing it. not sure error said. when restarted computer no longer boot ubuntu or windows , grub wont show either. tried booting live usb see if retrieve rest of files hard drive no longer shows up.

theres fstab , mtab can't see hard drive anywhere except in bios. if has suggestions please let me know. thanks.

you can't see disk in gparted or with:
sudo fdisk -l

option recover partitions (if missing) testdisk: http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/testdisk
