Thread: new to conky need help

need know temp of processer harddrive , video card is. told use conky did apt-get install conky. conky install correctly can not work get

l@bl:~$ conky
conky: desktop window (2200095) subwindow of root window (ac)
conky: window type - desktop
conky: drawing created window (0x4a00001)
conky: drawing single buffer

sit , blinks. how program work.

conky doesn't anything, need make ~/.conkyrc file tell info show , where/how show it.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
