Thread: Prevent pulseaudio from changing output connector?

hi posted this, received no response several bumps on several days. basically, if re-insert headphones jack, pulseaudio changes output connector "analog headphones" produces no sound. forces me manually change "analog speakers" through sound settings audio working properly. real nuisance. greatly appreciated. i'm sick of feeling of dread moment accidentally disconnect headphones. please help!

p.s. hundredth post! cheers me up. : )

when change settings "analog output", headphones work, , speakers muted?

can change switching mechanism, adjusting paths in /usr/share/pulseaudio/alsa-mixer/paths. files want researching analog-output-headphones.conf , analog-output.conf (the comments in analog-output.conf.common helpful too).

however, see might need change, please post output of:

code:
aplay --list-devices
thanks
