Thread: search and replace not working in gedit

-

i using ubuntu 11.10 3.0.0-13-generic-pae kernel.
whenever click on search->replace error message comes saying 'unable find object 'grid' in file /usr/share/gedit/ui/gedit-replace-dialog.ui' '.

need resolve possible?

has solution?

have purging , re-installing gedit no help.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
