cannot install flash player

windows 7  ie 10  have read forms past week , followed instructions , still not download. not sure closing ie. told go task mgr , close ie question @ point close ie in task manager , seems there several ie's  listed there , when try close 1 appears download point tells me close ie no farther  !!!  find easier download photoshop , or windows flash player

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
