Hyperlink Problems

i using acrobat 9.

 

we have 1 client (i have no clue version of acrobat use) unable click on hyperlink (to them, when click on link, gives error message , dead link) , directed link should take them.  hyperlinks in our documents go tables/figures/appendices within same document.

 

as per requirements, our pdf saved version 1.4.

 

we have been told lose business unless can solve problem, need possible suggestions asap.

it's hard without more information. first need find out pdf viewer they're using. type of action did set link, exactly? exact error message they're getting? can post sample document somewhere?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
