RE Flash crashing help

basically i'm using new update flash , keeps crashing when ever use games on facebook or when watch videos online in mozilla firefox there can stop

i'm sorry you're going through this.  suspect you're running conflict our protected mode introduced in flash player 11.4.  please try troubleshooting steps outlined in faq:

 

how troubleshoot flash player's protected mode firefox?

 

in particular, i'd recommend temporarily disabling protected mode (for troubleshooting purposes only) see if addresses issue.

 

finally, if can go "about:crashes" in firefox's address bar , provide links recent report id's might track down see if these common occurrences.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
