Recent Issue: Render Currently at 72hrs+ for an Hour Long Clip

i had problem adobe media encoder (in premiere , stand alone) running render time 40+ hours 1 hour clip. hit , miss. rendered equivalent clip in mere 2 hours or less, stop in middle of halfway rendered clip render time started balloon.

that seemingly went away until week when happened again. on 72 hours , ticking clip 72 minutes long.

i running adobe cs6. below computer specs:

intel core i7-2670qm @2.20ghz

16gb ram

windows 7 64-bit

the file rendering live event audio , video 8 frames off. offset video match audio , clipped beginning , end match. other there have been no other edits, no effects of kind or transitions, etc added file.

i set render (and again have been doing long time , each time file typically takes matter of 90 minutes render 60 minute segment) , half-way through seemingly stops. have stopped render on own few times once hit 12 hour mark thinking if restarted it, magically change outcome. let run , here 3 days later on last 4% of video , says 18 minutes left, has said around last 2 hours now.

hi brad,

once in while, can corrupted. since mentioned there virtually no editing work involved, syncing audio, why not start on , see if it? create new project , see happens. simplest thing try. also, try adding bit of black video start , end of video. don't ask, can weird situations. gop encoding, needing end on correct frame...

thanks
