Thread: Creative soundcard has anyone installed one ?

first of big hi of @ ubuntu bells,sirens,fireworks , whistles going off,no fantastic job of guiding mere mortals around system , thank have benefited on many occasions.
card in question creative audigi xfi [model no= sb0460,i have downloaded creatives efforts in form of tar.gz file. have been following compiling easy how guide , have got files /usr/local/src folder , taken charge of folder permissions wise.i have tried sudo make , output got

don't know first file wasn't in original untarred file
i'm not computers please bear me start somewhere me many years ago
if can advance upon efforts astounded shouldn't because guys make falling off log
