Thread: HDD Disappeared

hi all,

using ubuntu 11.10 dual boot windows vista (manual install).

seemed working well.... yesterday needed go windows more info off of firefox , thunderbird.... did have time starting windows.... did not want start (must have done check disc failed - tried quit it) started.... got info got ubuntu....

morning, needed hard drive (it has been available before) has disappeared....

this whole laptop hard drive - can't find in home folder no longer.

have bookmarks things in hard drive (gwenview , home folder) , no longer work....

so you're saying ubuntu/windows boots fine, can't access files on hd through file browser?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
