Thread: Icons Missing?

hi,
i've installed ubuntu 11.10 on desktop, , did nothing except updating it.
however, icons in home folder keeps disappearing once in while when turn on computer.
there solution problem? i'm new linux i'm still foreign command lines
help!

that's not /home

it's file system

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
