Thread: Installing madwifi

i have atheros card (i think). it's pi21ag cisco card, believe uses atheros chipset.

i've gone system > administration > additional drivers nothing appears in list.

also, under system > administration > network there wired connection.

i've tried reinstalling card installed , while connected internet doing full update.

i'm new ubuntu apologize ignorance.

question moved it's own thread.

in future, rather tagging question on end of old thread, please start 1 of own.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
