Thread: intel assembly register st?
while doing intel assembly code on kate text editor mistake wrote "st" , saw st blue (i had set kate blue register), means st register. st used for, 8, 16, 32 or 64 bit or segment register?
my asm knowledge limited, never heard of st register... take at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/x86#x86_registers
anyway, never deduce syntax highlighting. under common-lisp-mode + slime, emacs marks starting "with-" if keyword... no matter how hard try looking "with-my-girlfriend" on common lisp hyperspec, won't find it... or her...
(no, it's not bug, it's feature. there's reason , it's handy, it'll bit lengthy explain here, apart off-topic)
