Thread: process with no name

hello,

using ubuntu 10.10 . few day cpu usage has been increased , above 80% if doing nothing , no window opened.

today checked system monitor , there process has no name blank , not showing how memory using, id keeps changing fast unable kill because cant select it.
window has changed maximize, minimize , close boxes moved right side , ms windows. , in place there circle dot, when clicked shows various options.
kind of various.
should do, should fresh install, please help

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
